the yahoo was on account on its on.. verizon was just an IP provider. As I said they were not merged together. I have had that account for over 3 years and have had other IP providers. That is why you get Yahoo, so you can take it anywhere. It is not up to them to cancel it. I didnt get Verizon yahoo, I already had Yahoo. I canceled my dsl service, that had nothing to do with my Yahoo which I already had.

Your id was undoubltly cancelled when Verizon discontinued you account. Try signing up for new Yahoo account with same id and password or simply get a new one. Very simple and easy. If you are afraid you will forget it, write it down or make only simple changes to existing one.

Yahoo is its own company, even on phones. If you had a verizon email account and canceled your dsl, you will not be able to use the verzion email. Get free email so if you change providers, theres no problems.

If you were using the same User Accoutn with the Verizion that you were with the old Yahoo then yes it would have been tied together for authentication and once cancelled or deactivate you would loose that account. An easy way to resolve this is get with Yahoo and reestablish that account. If it has not been to long they should be able to restore you old account.

Your verizon account should not have had anything to do with your yahoo. Have you tried turning off the caps lock or vise versa? Did it automatically log you in? Maybe the passwor is incorrect or changed. If you still have a problem, contact yahoo help and maybe they can help you resolve your problem. They will probably just ask for some identifying info and help fix the problem. good luck.

Make sure caps lock is off/on depending on the chazracterization of the password. They are in no way connected at all. Contact yahoo is the best answer.

well, cancelling your verizon account shouldnt of had anything to do with your yahoo account so heres a question for you, how long was your yahoo account inactive? cause they will cancel it after about six months of inactivity, (it happened to me in basic/AIT), hope that helps.
