Can anyone make sense of the Halo 3 trailer?

I just don't get it! It's so stupid!

I'd also like to hear speculation and theories on what the story line is going to be like (based either on this trailer or previous games).

yeah its a teaser trailer, its just meant to show how good the graphics are, earl next year or the end of this year they will release a demo or a in game trailer.
