well i bought a front loader .just depends on your preference.. for my king comforter .. of course and all my other cloths

A comforter really needs to be dry-cleaned.
A washer will destroy the material within the comforter and make it "clump".

Why bother with one as big as that, for a job you do very rarely. Visit your local laundramat. They have large machines available to do those types of jobs. And it won't cost you a fortune.
