I hope you are trying to say x+2 = (2/3)(2x-1)..if it is correct then

3(x+2) = 2(2x-1) --> 3x+6 = 4x - 2 --> 6+2 = 4x-3x --> 8 = x

The first guy is wrong. It's x= -1 1/3

x+2= 4/3x-2/3
x-4/3x=-2-2/3
-1/3x=-2 2/3
times -3 both sides
x=8

3x-4x=-8
-x=-8
