I hope you are trying to say x+2 = (2/3)(2x-1)..if it is correct then
3(x+2) = 2(2x-1) --> 3x+6 = 4x - 2 --> 6+2 = 4x-3x --> 8 = x

3/2(x+2)=2x-1
3/2(x+2) - 2x = -1
3/2x-2x +3=-1
3/2x-2x=-4
3x-4x=-8
-x=-8
x=8
