i don't think that they should do it. me being a teen myself and not sexually active for simple reasons always try to discourage my friends from doing it. seriously, if you've waited for 16, 17 years what is another year going to hurt.

I believe that as long as you've been with the person you've been dating for a long enough period of time (at least a year or maybe a little less/more), you understand the consequences behind what you're going to be active it, and you know the person well enough and love them enough, you can become sexually active around 15-18. I do believe that younger than that, your body hasn't developed enough nor has your mind to make such a huge, life impacting decision.
Being a teen, I absolutely HATE it when elders or older teens tell you you're too young to make a choice like that (to become sexually active) or that you'll regret it. That is NOT true. I'm not telling teens out there to go have sex with their boyfriend/girlfriend, I'm just saying if you're 100% ready and you've been with your special someone for a really long time, its your choice and you won't ALWAYS regret making it.

SEX AMONG TEENS IS HAPPENING TOO MUCH, TOO FAST AND YOUNG GIRLS ARE MAKING IT AND THEMSELVES TOO EASY. SEX OR ALMOST SEX SHOULD NOT BE THE LATEST FAD THING TO DO TO SHOW YOU'RE COOL, HIP, OR WHATEVER. SEX IS BEAUTIFUL WHEN IT IS SHARED BY TWO PEOPLE WHO LOVE AND CARE ABOUT EACH OTHER. BESIDES YOU COULD HAVE SEX ONLY ONCE AND CATCH SOMETHING YOU CAN'T GET RID OF, MAINLY A DISEASE OR A KID.

Oh, that one is easy!
1. they usually do NOT use birth control, which increases the chance of getting pregnant.
2. they usually are uninformed about sexually transmitted diseases, which leads to spreading STD's to other people.
3. they usually do not have the maturity to develop the sexual feelings into real, life-long lasting love with that person.
4. they usually do it for the act alone, and not so much to please their partner.

sex is way too special to be thrown away so frivolously. well, but its a personal choice i guess.

its sad that sex is just mere lust for most of the ppl mainly teens. it just reflects a lack of spiritual growth.
