Why people hate gay people?

because people tend to hate those that are different then themselves thats how most human being are in the world

A lot of people look down on homosexuality for many different reasons. Some people believe that it's a blasphemy or an abomination towards God, and others feel like it's a disgrace. For instance, if it's regarding the relationship between two homosexual males, then men (and women) of the heterosexual community look at them as if they aren't 'man enough' to be heterosexual.
Honestly, I think that homosexuals make heterosexuals uncomfortable. I think that they are so strong willed that they aren't afraid to hide their feelings, and it makes 'straight people' embarrassed because 1: they aren't strong enough to face the world in such ways, and 2: they're not comfortable enough with their own sexuality, and they're afraid that they may have the same feelings.

because they probley think that it is scary, that people of the same gender like others of the same gender. I don't see why others have problems with it, but that's just me. I have a friend who is gay, and he gets hell about it all the time. He isn't a bad guy he's just diffrent.

Because people hate and fear what they don't understand. It is a shame because I know many gay people who are great people.

I never understood that myself. SOme of my best freinds have been gay.( Male and Female) Plus, i klove my uncle to death and he's gay. To this day i ask the same quesion.

Some people dont hate gays as much as they're grossed out by their actions. I personally dont give a rat's @$$ about what people do as long as they dont negatively affect me.

because some of the time they r like that and is scared to come out about it or they just have problems with they self that they take them out on orther people.

ignorance. thats why some ppl dislike homosexuals. ppl are scared of the unknown, unusual, and of whats different. homosexuals are ppl just like u and me. personally i've had gay friends and i think they are great. ppl shouldn't judge, after all who are we to talk smack on anyone??

I don't hate gay people. I just think its an apppropriate lifestyle.
