I'm curious of your professional opinions. If I were taller, more muscular, and more handsome, how much better would my life be? I would also really like a percentage with the answer. For example: "I would assume your life would be 15% better..." or "I think your life would be 100% better..."

What would improve a mans life if he were short, would be more height - at least that's what the studies say.If you are already of an average-tall stature then the rest means about 2%.

It is women who are judged pysically, so much more than men. Unless there is a different code amongst homosexuals...I don't know.If you are a straight man, then your inner qualities and your accomplishments mean more -as long as women have babies, that will be a much more necessary criteria for men. So if you are just looking for fun, then yes maybe looks matter much more - but who really cares to answer someone who is that selfish, right? I make the assumption that you are a person of integrity and seriousness.

LISTEN TO TYNA - the least shallow answer of all.

From my own experience I can tell you that people definetly treat you differently when your better looking and in return it boosts your self-confidence and makes you feel happier-I would say the difference is about 50-60% more happiness for me at least. I was at that stage before a series of unfortunate events reduced my looks to merely average looking so I can tell you that there are differences between how you look and how people treat you although I have learned alot since I was last considered attractive by the opposite sex so I am not sure how I would act now if I was still good looking.

Why don't we assume that you are an attractive man, and academically want to know "what if" you were a man with all the attributes you list. In my "professional" opinion, unless you were in a business where looks were important to success--entertainment, broadcasting, modeling, etc.--your looks wouldn't make more than 10% or 15% difference. Instead of looks, in most areas of life, hard work and an individual's unique personality make more difference than looks.

Why should you judge the goodness or badness of life on what you look like? The most beautiful person in the world can be totally ugly by the attitude they exhibit or the nasty things they do or say to others. What makes a beautiful person is how you treat others, how much you love those around you.If you truly want to improve your life, give more to those around you.

The changes that could better your life are associated with having just good hygiene. Traits that everyone should have anyway, therefore, I don't think that being better looking would have much difference in your life.

You're not really giving us much to go there. If you're Jennifer Addison then being better looking might not matter much, however if you're a mutilated fire victim then it might matter a lot. So let's say 100% for the fire victim and 0% for Jennifer you slot yourself in on that scale and score yourself accordingly.

You still have to live with the person you are under your skin. If you're not happy now, and you're envious of others, a makeover will just turn into a snooty jerk. The kind of people that like snooty jerks are not the kind of people that make your life better.

If you improved your muscle tone, but were not too muscly, and you smelled nice and were very nice to people your life would improve by a predicted 37.5%. This can be improved further by the improvement of your self esteem, by as much as and extra 42%! All in all a 79.5% improvement! hope I helped ;)

First impressions are of your looks, so it would be 100% difference. Unfortunately, this is our society today, but reality is that people judge you by your looks.
