Imagine this: a mother of 5, a widow, makes her living weaving mats. But she's super poor ... she has to borrow money to buy the raw material, and the loan shark is the only person who'll give her a loan, cus *D'uh!* she's poor. So most of the money she makes goes to the loan shark! (If we loan her $3 she can buy the material straight ... and make a profit to pay us back /and/ have enough to buy more material. So then the profit next time goes for food!)

Imagine a farmer in US or EU who fills out a form for government subsidy: he gets paid /not/ to produce certain crops. So a cow gets more money than lots of people get.

Millions and millions of people live on less than $2/day. How can they buy tools? how can they keep decent clothes, or pay for transportation?

Everybody knows it takes money to make money.

The rich get richer while the poor get poorer. It isn't the poor who benefit from that way of doing things, that's for sure.

Meanwhile others (stupid with greed) say "They're just lazy." Not just ignorant: dangerous.

So that the rich exist. As the world resources are limited, if you must be rich there must be some ones to give up their share to you and become poor.

because the government does not care. If it did people here would be shipped care packages as well. Have you ever seen a country turn it's back on it's own...well you know who I am talking about. Wake up there on the hill in washington.
