For guitarists....how do YOU set YOUR Flanger pedal??

i just bought my Flanger pedal today and i don't know how to set it or what it does for me. please give me some tips. i play a Fender fat strat.

I haven't had one for years but just experiment by adjusting the dials until you find the sound you fancy! No one can tell exactly how to set it, you have to find your fave sound from it!!!
