It uses the same cartridge as a lexmark Z600 series... if you break the little plastic tab that DELL put on their printers so you would have to buy cartridges from them, the lexmark carts fit just fine. I dont recall the numbers on the carts.

The cartridge numbers for your dell printer are: T0529(Black) & T0530(Color). I would stay away from Dell because they are going to charge you an arm and a leg for the cartridges, you should try remanufactured cartridges which are cheaper in price and work just as good. The only thing with dell printers is that you can only get ink from dell
