I'm not a doctor, so I really can't say whether it is or not...however...
I am a big-breasted young lady, and the only type of bra that I wear IS one with an underwire. I personally feel that they give me more support...after all, it can be healthy to have your breast draggin' on the ground, right?

Iono, sometimes the underwire comes out and pokes me in the boob. That really hurts so i just pull it out. Otherwise, i dont think so.

I've never heard that they were bad (but then they say something different all the time).
As far as I know, they are good support, and make one's clothing look better.

i dont think its bad, but i wouldnt wear one to sleep, might leave marks + after wearing it for a long time, even the most comfortable ones get a bit uncomfy..
