Yes. The child should taken into consideration when planning surgery, but it usually isn't a problem. The ansthesiologist may use nerve blocks instead of a general anesthesia so as to avoid exposing the child to the drugs, but other than that, it's pretty much all the same.

depending on the stage of the birth yes.let's say that your at the beginning of your pregnancy then no but if the baby is strong then yes but only if the surgery is away from the baby because then baby can be in dangered by something from the surgery

Yes, it's actually a pretty common procedure in pregnancy. For some reason it's really hard on the gallbladder.

Yes like a C-section to get the baby out.

But other drastic ones aren't suggested!
