Page minimise is not working for me. Any suggestions?

You may be able to either;

RIGHT CLICK on the relevant window and select "Minimize"
--or--
LEFT CLICK on the small icon (like the Internet Explorer icon) in the top left of the window and select "Minimize".

Failing these then you may be able to turn on the 'Show Desktop' button in the 'Quick Launch' area (between the Start button and the taskbar items.
