I gave myself a brazilian wax earlier today, but I’m pretty disappointed with the results to be honest. First of all, it still hurts, but I’m guessing that will probably be better by tomorrow. But it’s not all that smooth…….like, it looks nice and hair free and all that, but when you actually touch it it’s not smooth. There are lots of little fine hairs that the wax hasn’t caught.
I don’t want to shave over it, because the whole point of waxing was so that it stayed hair free for longer, didn’t itch when it grew back, and to get rid of the irritation I get with waxing. Any ideas how I can get it smoother? And how long does it stay tender for? It feels as though the whole area is slightly bruised at the minute, not too sore, but a bit uncomfortable.
Also, since I’ve done it I’ve been really sensitive down there. Like if I move a certain way and the material of my knickers rubs against it I’m getting these sort of mini-orgasms!!! Will this go away once I get used to it?

It's probably a due to a problem with your technique, you just need to practice waxing your girly bits and things should do more smoothly (no pun intended, well perhaps slightly inteneded). I would go to a salon when the hair has grown back and pay close attention to what they do when they wax you - there might be something you are not doing.
Personally I have always shaved down there and although I need to do this every three days or so it takes only a couple of mins at most and I have only had any irritation with sh*tty economy razors.
The sensitivity will be heightened partially because you are thinking of that part of your body and partially because the hair will act as a barrier which when removed allows your vulva to touch things more closely - after a few days the senastion will reduce and things will be back to normal - take my advice and enjoy it while it lasts.
I hope things improve next time, just keep trying and you will eventually achieve the results you desire! Have a great day.

for a start, congrats!!i have so many friends that are wimps and wont even do it!!lol
ok so what you need to do is get some tweezers and get all the little ones out the ones too tiny for the wax! and yes the tingling will still be a bit tomorrow but by thursday all gone and smooth. also moisturise the area as that will help alot and keep it baby soft. it will then grow back in about 3 weeks.
Veet cold strips is what i use and there brilliant! good luck!!!

i have had this done at a salon a few times and it is a lot quicker and pain free also they always get a better result, i have done it myself a few times using the veet hot wax pot but it REALLY hurt, (and i was there for an hour with the tweezers) the soreness will go down just use plenty of moisturiser down there, i don't know about these mini orgasms but i suggest you go to a salon next time, it only costs about £10 and they will give you all your after care advice too, good luck! :-)

I would apply a cool not freezing towel or even put an ST in the freezer for a while and put it in your knickers. It should relieve the bruising. For the missed bits I would say leave well alone.
In the morning shower/Bathe as usual but try holding a cold face cloth small towel over the tender bits.
Good luck.

I would never wax myself down there, I would go to a reputable salon where they can do it quickly and painlessly as possible, I would consult one and see what they say as it doesnt sound as if you did it properly, as for the sensitivity you're experiencing I would imagine that the skin is still on high alert from the waxing and any little movement is going to set it off, it will fade but be careful not to irritate it further

lol, mini organsms, what you complaining about??
I would however suggest that you let if grow back a bit and then get it done professionally, you wont feel the same discomfort or feeling of bruising. As for the smaller finer hairs, if it was done correctly it would have removed these also, its all to do with the technique of ripping that bit of cloth off!!!!

wohoo on the fun of after wish i could get that but i had waxing explained to me and the hair has to be a certain length before the wax can bacially get a grip on it so they will be there until they get long enough. but if it looks hair free and you only have basically a peach fuzz i would not worry about it.

Enjoy it while it lasts! The orgasams I mean. It is quite common to bruise after waxingm usually goes after a day or so. Get a warm bath with no bubbles, just water.

It will hurt for a few days, then irritate when the hairs grow back and stick in you. Not as bad as shaving as the hairs are not cut! Wear cotton undies!
