The only reason anyone even thinks about this stuff is because we live in a time when media creates unneeded and frankly unwanted hype about everything. The year 2000 is a big example. Again, the media said that planes were going to fall from the sky and that computers were going to crash. The biggest reason for people being scared is the movie, "The Omen."

By the way, today is 6/6/06 and nothing has happened and nothing will.

Erin, nothing is going to happen. It's 06/06/06 where I live already! That's in Australia for example. You might also be interested to know that the Church of Satan don't even recognise the said date as significant. You might want to read this quote from [1] for more information.

NOTHING will happen, just an ordinary day! 666 is a biblical quotes "MARK OF THE BEAST" "ARMAGEDDON with more heads? Ask OPUS DEI for this number and im sure they knew everything. Just like in year 2000, which a prediction of the coming of Jesus Christ? .......lol Bible word is not a word of God and Opus Dei knew it was Saint Peter who founded Christianity and proclaimed Jesus (pbuh) as "god". it was basically a normal day, but a gothic girl at my school brought liek 5 waterbottles filled with straight vodka along with a knife and some drugs. in 7th period she passed out and threw up on a bunch of people. there were ambulances and some crazy crap. people said she was trying to do an act for the devil or something. it was crazy
