I guess you will need to tell her that you are moving on as well.
I dont think she knows that you have left the room yet. But if she does, then I dont think you have left the right message, the right way.
You should make her understand the reason(s) that you are exiting.
But you should also examine the reason(s) why are getting out. Is it because of incompatibility or is it because of peer pressure??
Is she a evil person?? A lot of questions need to answered, before you exit amicably.
Try and put things across in as reasonable way as possible.
Tell her, to let you go, since you need time to think on where this relationship is going. I am sure any girl would understand this.
But be very careful with the way you use your words. They could hurt.

You are being given a feeling of control over him, and for whatever reason, you like it. You are not really willing to let go, but you need to. It is disrespectful to yourself, and to him. You also entertain the idea of having someone continuously chase after you, because it gives the illusion that they desire you. You are hurting yourself and him in a time when neither of you need any addition pain from the breakup.

"How do you get over an ex?"
So, are you over it or not?
Yes, it sounds like you have the door half open, just from the way you worded your question.
