It goes beyond that - some of the basic principals upon which our economic system are very very flawed. For more information read this book by Robert A. Heinlein. While it is set as a novel, it is more a combination of essays about our antiquated, pre-technology social system. He has a detailed appendix with provable examples of the problem with our economics system - it is fascinating.
