Marley & Me - it's about the author's yellow lab and his (the dog's) crazy antics. Perfect if you're a dog lover!

you can get a great many audio books for free (yes its completly legal) at www.librivox.org They have a lot of classic books, such as: A conneticut Yankey in king aurthors court by mark twain; Alice in wonderland by lewis carrol; a journey to the center of the earth by Jules verne (my favorites) and some others. They are all in mp3 format so you can put them on an mp3 player or burn them to cds.

Dead Famous by Ben Elton, about a murder in a "Big Brother" style house. Very funny and entertaining. We just listened to it on a road trip and loved it.

I've had good luck with Michael Crichton (sp?). He wrote Jurrassic Park, Sphere, good "fluff".
