I felt that the movie captured the spirit of the book, yet at the same time was extremely political about its approach to the subject. At least, it was more tactful than the book was, and made fewer sweeping statements. It was enjoyable, well rounded, but not fantastic.
As a side note, I feel that whether or not Jesus was married should have nothing to do with our spirituality. Spirituality is an internal, right-now issue, and not related to what did or did not happen outside of ourselves two thousand years ago.

Movies adapted from famous novels are usually not popular, ( let alone Harry Potter) the first reason, i believe is the fact that novels let the reader run his imagination throughout the book while movies do not tend to do so. The second reason which results in the very first one is the fact that people who have read the novel will face a totally different version of their imaginations which makes them not to like the movie!
The same could be said about D.V Code for reading the book i found the movie boring and quite different from what i had in mind

The book was better than the movie.
As far as the movie goes I much prefered National Treasure to Davinci.

no only because i'm sick of hearing about it and it's driving me crazy and no i haven't read the book or watch the film as i wouldn't waste my time and energy

would not waste my money on trash and lies about Jesus. Jesus was never married to mary or anyone else.
