My grandfather was working at a gas station and went out to put gas in a fancy car and after he finished the back window rolled down and Elvis handed GP a hundred dollar bill. Grandpa loved to tell that story.

My father is a guitar player and has been for almost 40 years. He's played with Santana, Eric Clapton, and has on of Elton John's personal photographs (like you'd have family pics done at a photo studio). There are so many, I don't know them all.
I hung out with DC Talk, BeBe & CeCe Winans, Kirk Franklin, the newsboys, and lots of others when I was in on eof the stage shows for the Dove Awards in 1999.

My first ex met Bob Hope.
He was working at a hotel on the East side of Cleveland, and was in the parking lot out back.
He saw an older gentleman walking a dog in the parking lot. He knew the man looked familiar, but could not place him.
My ex (who was very young at the time) went over and said, "Hi, you're um, ah, um..."
He told me that Bob Hope was very sweet and charming, and much amused.
Bob Hope smiled and said, "That's right...come on, you'll get it! Come on..."
He then waited patiently and cheerfully while my ex wracked his brains!
Finally my ex introduced himself, Bob Hope did the same, and they chatted for a few minutes.
I have always liked Bob Hope better after hearing this story.
He was kind, unassuming, and very polite to a star-struck young man.

My mother met Robin Williams. He was a personal friend of someone she was staying with. He even offered to sleep on the sofa so my Mom could have the guest bed. She said absolutely not, but he insisted. Apparently he's as crazy and funny in person as he is onstage. And uncannily intelligent. And very nice.

Yes Fashion Goddess, as a major agent to many of today's and yesterdays stars, I have to say that I have met many, many celebrities and will continue to do so in the future. Of course there are just too many to name so I will have to let you guess as to who they are. But never fear they are the biggest names in the business and since you have shown an interest maybe I can arrange for you and your family to meet the celebrity of your choice. I will give you a hint as to how many I do represent and who they are:
Over 124
Initials: TC, MJ, PH, C, MD, LL, Lassie, GWB, etc..
I hope that in your lifetime you get to meet many celebrities for they always have nice things to say to their adoring fans and think about them all the time. Their main worry is the financial situation of their fans and if they knew their names and addresses they would surely send them money, but alas the fans only ask for autographs and adoration never money, so they are missing out, please, please ask your celebrity favorites for money they will surely send you some.......good luck

My dad met Jack Dempsey, a boxer many, many years ago. He also met Arlene Francis, Dorothy Kilgallen, Bennett Cerf and Steve Allen when he was on the show "What's My Line?" Arlene Francis guessed what my dad did for a living. He made aspirin.
