The most vile, horrible acts have been committed in the name of religion. People can act inhumanely if they are convinced it is the "will of God".
Iran is a theocracy. If their Ayatollahs tell them it is the will of Allah to nuke another country, the people will accept it.
Iran has already stated they want to obliterate Israel. If you think this is just idle bluster, look at this website and you will see the true face of Islam:

Read their signs, look at their faces and tell me if people like this should be trusted with nukes!
Therefore, until Iran develops a more sophisticated, less hostile and volatile form of government, they should not be allowed to develop nuclear weapons.

Although I don't relish the thought of Iran having nuclear capabilities, I do not think we have the right to intervene. What exactly makes George Bush think he has the right to control other countries? He wasn't elected President of the world, was he?? Oh right, he wasn't really ELECTED President of anything, was he?

If the US want to be involved in the Mideast, then Iran is where they need to be. Iran like the majority of Mideast country wants total control, both politically and religiously. This is a much better cause then fighting for control oil rights.

If the West can develop such power, why not other countries? Everyone has the right to defend themselves and secure their country.

I think it's the slow road to hell for em...there's lots better stuff out there, if they decided to 'go green' it'd be better and probably healthier for everybody....
