Uhm, well the teacher is in a position of authority. Now despite the fact (random but Lordi rule!) that te student is at a legal age to have sexual intercourse the teacher will of breached their contract and codes of conduct and is liable to lose their job. Or in short, no they'll get sacked.

But if he's married, don't do it. His wife'll just get hurt and, it wouldn't be worth it. He'd get sacked, his marrige'd be ruined. He'd lose everything.

A teacher is a person that imparts his or her knowledge to a student. As long as both are over 18 in my opinion it is quite acceptable, If the teacher is married then another issue exists.

It will be against the rules of the establishment, not illegal but he would probably lose his position, so it had better be worth it.On the other hand having an affair whilst he is married is definitely immoral so he should lose his job and the student deported for immoral acts.

Well I guess if it's ok for Catholic priests to do the business with the young choir boys then it should be ok for a teacher and a 22 yearold.

It is not illegal, but unprofessional. The governors of the school or college may therefore take disciplinary action, depending how flagrant the affair is.

I imagine he would be breaking an contract between him and the governing bodies that decided to employ him, not forgetting the vows to his wife. They could suspend him or sack him with relevant evidence and grounds of breach of contract.
