Think of processors as an automobile....

Here you have an regular Intel Pentium Processor (probably a Pentium 4 or higher) as a Cadillac.
And there you have a Intel Celeron Processor as a 3rd World Country-made car.

Both cars will drive. Both cars will run. Just like both Processors will do the same thing. But what is under the hood is where the difference lies.

So would you spend the good money to get a Cadillac (Pentium) or will you save a few bucks to get the foreign car (Celeron)? That choice is yours. Personal preference, I'll buy Pentium anyday over Celeron.

Celerons are slower than Pentium processors. I am assuming you are talking about a Pentium 4, Pentium M, etc. and not a Pentium II.

seem Bro, for gaming, you want a CPU with atleast 2 Cores like Intel twin middle, middle 2 Duo, i3 etc. Intel Pentium III Xeon will in no way have the means to start a interest or play it easily. it is not suitable in case you have 4 GB of RAM & 2GB GPU. in case you could desire to easily replace your CPU, with those i discussed till now, you could play an excellent style of video games, even Battlefield 3 at Low-Medium settings. I additionally own an Intel twin middle E5300 for over 4 years and it remains serving me nicely ! thank you, iBz
