Make your own baby food.Take whatever veggies you have made for dinner and blend in food processor or blender. They even have mini food grinders at baby'srus. You can store in old baby food jars you already have and freeze. Also keep trying it usually takes children around 7-11 times of trying something to get used to it.You can also mix veggies& fruit start with 1jar to 1 jar then use less and less fruit until he enjoys his veggies alone.Keep trying if you don't get this figured out now you will be in much more trouble later when he is a toddler.

Did you start him out on fruits?. If so.....that is the problem. Sweet verses non sweet. Which would you take?. My son's dr. started him out on vegetables then fruit. She said it is hard to reintroduce foods that don't have a sweet taste to them. Why don't you try sweet potatoes(a veggie)and some peas. Hope the advice helps.
My friends son is 13 years old and still won't touch a vegetable because she gave him fruits first. Still has a fit if she puts anything that even looks like a veggie on the plate.

Have you tasted the stuff? If so, you'd *know* why he won't eat it!!
Instead of giving so-called "baby foods", try offering him *real* food. It is tastier and more nutritious. You can try grating a tablespoon or so from a fresh carrot, and put it in front of him. Let him feed himself as much as he wants. Or give him small pieces of well-cooked potato or sweet potato and let him take a bite. Pick *any* vegetable that your family enjoys. As long as you make sure there are no hard pieces of anything, just let him eat. You can give him steamed broccoli, small pieces of green or red pepper, etc. He'll let you know which ones he likes or doesn't. Keep trying until you find a few that he does like.
But if you offer him *food* instead of mush, he's much more likely to enjoy it!!

Keep trying but stay calm because babies pick up if you get stressed about food issues.
They say that it can take 20 goes to get a baby to accept a new food.
My son hate one type of food so much he screamed and cried until I took it away. The second time he had it he ate the whole portion and then had another portion.
Take things slowly and show him food including veg is fun. Also, let him see you eating veg.
Good luck I know it is difficult but try to stay cheerful or you will end up pulling your hair out.

how many times have you offered him veggies? it can take up to 10 times of trying something before he aquires the taste for it, so if you have given it to him less than that keep trying. if you have tried that many times, try mixing his favorite fruit into it and gradually lessening the amount of fruit until he is eating all veggies. good luck.
