ive got 6 points on there. all from one offense (driving without insurance). i have to take this course for the Army but it is the number 1 defensive driving course in the country. ...am i going to get any points off my license for this?

I would doubt it, but you can contact your local DMV to make sure.

You will have the points taken off only if the course is state sanctioned. The best way to find out is to call your local license branch or search the department of motor vehicles for your state.

Personally, I don't think it will take off any points.

In most states, taking a def. driving class will allow you atleast 2 points back... check with your local DMV to be sure

I would say no unless the trafic judge said to take the course
