damn...i know the best cure for depression is to sit at sea and observe the horizon...for many days under the sun...allow her to be in a jolly environment for most of her time. else she should see a psychiatrist/psycologist.

Some things that have a huge impact on your life that is tragic usually is hard to ever get over. Your friend probably will never get over what ever happened to her. My cousin who i was close to died three years ago and i still haven't got over it. I'm not depressed but I'm very sad. And I'm sure that if someone closer was to me were to die i would be. Depression usually leads to suicide. If your friend is at the point where she is likely to be suicidal then its up to the people who are close to her to help her. Even now you should talk to her about whatever made her this way. Talking helps alot and especially when you are depressed. But there is no real cure for depression even with all the medicine out there. None of that crap works. Just talk with her. You could help her a bit. But she probably will never get fully over it. Hope this helps....

Check out Tahitian NONI Juice.... it IS listed in the Physician's Desk Reference with NO known negative side effects.
www.tni.com
Make sure she is drinking plenty of water too.....sort of like running your car low on antifreeze without enough water in your body.
Remind her, that death is NOT an end....... that not all feelings are accurate.
We are not required to ACT on all the feelings we have.
Besides, suicide is not guaranteed.
Your body is WHAT you are IN, not WHO you are.
Read up on Spiritual Warfare... she could be under attack.
There MUST be a wonderful life ahead of her for "negative" to be trying to hard to get her to give up........
And www.stevenhalpern.com has a "Healing CD" that is very soothing.... you can find Steven Halpern's music in stores too.
Depression is like having a hangover for a very long time... it is physically and emotionally painful.
Water & Tahitian NONI Juice will help the BODY,
Halpern's music will reduce the STRESS and pain...
Spiritual information will send away whatever is trying to pull her down.....
Clinical depression is more like BRAIN FLU than "depression".
Blessings to you.

I'm a long time sufferer too. Been this way since 1990, and I've got to tell you that I'm wishing that they would still perform a lobotomy. Tell her to stay with counseling and on her meds. I stopped taking antidepressants and it was a big mistake. Hope she can find a way out of this.
