Depends upon what kind of "fancying" your are referring to.

All girls, starting at about age 10, would like to have a boyfriend who treats her well. Most older girls and women would also like that, but if you're referring to a sexual relationship, it really depends on the individual.

Fear of pregnancy and STDs make a lot more people abstain then most people realize. Therefore, many women want a monogamous, serious relationship if sex is to be involved.

I think that women fancy men in a somewhat different way from the way men fancy women. I suppose it comes down to our basic instincts and the way that, like it or not, we are born with roles.

Women are the ones who are likely to be lumbered (if one is being cynical) with childbearing and rearing for the better part of their lives, so they tend to look at a man from the inside outwards because that is what is important to a long-term relationship.

Men, on the other hand, have the instinct to broadcast their seed so tend to look at women from the outside and don't have so much of a problem with more than one partner.

Very broad generalisations, I know - hence I used the words 'tend to'. Today, in the US and Britain, at least, the invention of easy birth control and the wholesale destruction of taboos about sex (neither of them bad things in themselves), together with social pressure from the media and peers, means that people's perceptions and moral codes are shifting, leading to considerable confusion about what the real purpose of our sexual instinct is.

if you're talking about singles and how they view the opposite sex, absolutely. i think women are just better at hiding that they're gawking whereas men have no problem with beer dribbling down their chin when a stunning woman walks in :)

if you're talking about in a relationship .... well, that's different. after a while it's not as passionate as it was at the start. that's natural. as a woman, i can tell you that cleaning up after your man like he was a little kid is a REAL passion killer. how can i really fancy someone if i've just used all my energy to cook his dinner, put his clothes in the washing machine, change the sheets on his bed and basically pick up his $hit from all over the house??? oh, and of course this was after i got home from working all day .....

so men, if you want your sex goddess back, you need to split all your responsibilities 50/50. if you can do this and do it consistently, i guarantee your woman will fancy you as much as you fancy her.
