Obviously you have fallen victim to a conspiracy theory. There are no teen pregnancies where children are told to wait until marriage. Other countries that teach the mechanics of birth control seem to have half the number of teen pregnancies than the US, but they must be lying in their statistics.
Look at these so called facts and make up your own mind:
The United States of America has double the adolescent pregnancy and birth rates of any other industrialized country.
The United States has the highest teen pregnancy rate in the western world, despite the fact that our teens are not more sexually active than Swedish teens, or Canadian teens, or British teens. Why? Because in the US we don't educate about birth control in sex education classes, we don't discuss it at home, we don't give teens good access to it, and we don't advertise it in our media. Other countries do, and they are rewarded with low rates of teen pregnancy and teen abortions.
A sexually active teenager who does not use contraceptives has a 90% chance of becoming pregnant within one year.
Girls have been seduced by someone saying I want to show you something about nature.

it is not just schools that should teach this.
you teach your child to do most things in life yet dont want to be open about sex.
at the end of the day children will do what they feel go they will do it and the more you say no the more they will want to.
so instead of waiting for the school to tell them or friends filling there heads with rubbish try and sit down with the children and talk to them but not as a child as a young adult also answer any question they might ask
i have 4 children from 18 to 12 and when they want to talk about things that they have heard or think of i answer them honestly and fully you dont have to go into the dirty details just the facts,
like unprocted sex can lead to them catching things from crabs to hiv, i hope and feel that when my younger children do have sex they will do it safely and know what they should do to protect themselves

i dont think that either sex education or not being told but teling u to wait til marriage works at all, we live in a time where everyone learns what they need to know from the internet and ttv programmes on such subjects. i think only the genuinly religious ppl will wait until after marriage

The 'just say no' approach to drugs and sex simply doesn't work. Just look around you for proof of that! This lack of information is extremely dangerous as it leads to people making silly decisions which they perhaps wouldn't have had they been educated.

Sex education will clear all doubts. It not a case of safety alone, when one should start sex depends on mental and physical maturity and financial independance.etc.Safety ,comes after maturity only.

I dont really think it makes a diffrence if your told to wait or not if your going to do it someone telling you to get married first isnt going to stop you.But I think that it is important that they know safe sex so when they do do it married or not they know the consquences and how to avoid them.

i dont think it really matters if you wait. i mean everybody is gonna have sex eventually. and what are the chances that your husband or wife will be a virgin when you marry them anyway. the chances of two people that are still virgins gettin married is very unlikely anyway. its not 1930 anymore
