my dad just opened an auto repair shop and he wants to know how much to charge for repairs. he has worked as a repair man for 20 years but for someone else. now he doesnt want to overcharge or undercharge. i want to buy a book or magazine or cd rom or anything that can tell us what would be a good price to charge for anything ranging from changing brakes to painting an entire car. also he wants some computer programs that show you the entire structure of the car like in the car dealerships. something that tells you exactly where every part (i.e. rotors, ball bearings, gaskets, etc) are located in the car. thank you very much for your help.

I hope you have a BIG budget for what you are asking for. There is only one set of do it all software like you are asking for / about, and it is NOT cheap for everything (we paid 3K per year for the autobody ONLY)
