I spent the Millennium at home and I did not do anything special on January 1, 2002.

I spent it miserable and bored outof my mind in a 'meyhane' in Istanbul drinking raki and listening to fasil music with a bunch of people whom I didn't really know that well. I had broken up with my girlfriend the week before and we were all just four months past the great earthquake that killed 19,000 people, so there was a lot of 'forced partying'... It really sucked.
I wish I had kept to my plan and just spent thenight at home alone reading a book. I have never enjoyed a single New Year's Eve in my life (honestly!) so I think it's best not to even try.

I went to a family and friend's party, then onto church and then my bf dropped me off right after church and did not even come in to visit. Then I talked to my dad. Then I got a phone call right around 12:30 or 1:00 from a guy who would change my little world forever. I still miss him much. Wow, a trip down memory lane. I better not think too hard or I might cry and put on an old familiar song. Thanks, you made my night!

went to barcelona for 2 days, extra the main fabulous pair of pony (pretend) pores and skin boots in England by no skill walked in them earlier I have been given to barcelona after 2 hours blisters so painful I had to purchase a pair of boots as those boots have been the sole issues I took. Then in the darkish I dived into the fountains interior the sq. and ripped my sparkly black trousers acceptable as much as the returned area and had to placed on my bf's coat for something of the night....which via the way grow to be soaked as nicely. So i visit endure in recommendations it for an rather long term!

I was pregnant so no boozing for me. I watched the fireworks and wish my neighbors a Happy New Year with my baby kicking me to celebrate.
I did have one very small drink!
