...and they aim into little holes on the floor... not toilets liek western civilization ins used to. Is this true? If so... is there anything on the 'net to back it up?

Yeah, in Japan, they use these squatty potties, which are basically just holes in the ground, that you have to squat above. Those Japanese must have really strong leg muscles! No reading on the toilet for them!

I think thats in Russia, and most men in the Western world go the bathroom standing up so its not a huge difference, its just the absense of toilets

Yes. I've been to China and the public restrooms I went to did not have toilets but holes in the floors.

What part of the world are you from? Are you thinking in terms of urination or standing while releasing your bowels (ie fecal matter) while standing? I must say that I don't know too many guys who stand while urinating.

Well my aunt has traveled all over and she said when she went to China that's how most of the bathrooms were....
