It is a statistical fact that Women score, on average, higher than men on a standardised IQ test.
However, before you ladies get too carried away with yourselves, you must consider the nature of the test. This requires that we define "intelligence".
This computer I am sitting at can calculate complex equations at a speed I could never equal. It can remember anything it is told to remember, indefinitely, and with 100% accuracy. It can even be "creative" in a limited sense. But it is not more intelligent than me, or you.
The problem faced in composing a test of intelligence is one of definition and quantification.
The standardised IQ test is test of logic, memory and mental dexterity. Women score, on average, 2-3% higher than men of the same age and demographic group.
Shift the bias of the test towards creativity in thought and the score levels out.
Shift the bias even further towards emotional response and creative thinking and the men score 1-2% higher.
But none of this solves the central issue of defining "intelligence"
Albert Einstein could not balance his cheque book. Marie Curie was dyslexic, and Mozart suffered from Attention Deficit Disorder. But all are given the status of "Genius"

Last time I heard this it said the Average IQ for everyone was around 115. (But as I am female, of course mine is much, much higher) :P

note: females & males i.q. should be around the same, even though boys tend to be more retarded. (girls rule!)
Anyways, boys&girls average i.q. is probably around 95-110.
p.s. blondes aren't dumb!

Researchers in UK claim that the average IQ of females is actually higher than males. I believe that.
