Your Criteria is:

1) Have at least six stadiums capable of holding at least 35,000 people.

2) The country has to have a good transport system, so as people can get to matches on time, as well as local citizens being able to get to work on time.

3) Security and Emergency Services: Important, as police and ambulance teams need to be well trained to cope with any circumstances.

4) The country must be able to provide suitable accomodation for travelling fans.

It's got to the point now where it just has to be your turn. after the 2010 World cup in South Africa, only one continent will not have hosted it yet and that's Oceania. As the only country in Oceania probably able to host the World Cup, I'd say Australia will get it in 2014. After that, probably South America again. Maybe Colombia, Brazil or Mexico. Of course, money is important too.

I thing the criteria for hosting the World Cup is have a great atmosphere among the fans.Not just their nation.

1. Being a member of FIFA
2. Having or promising to construct 9 top class stadiums (stadiums should have 27000 or more seating capacity)
3. To match the sub criterias of FIFA's security code
4. Stabilty in domestic peace and economy
5. Not to have any kind of international ban which had been sentenced by the UN
6. Accomodation facilities in the cities which the matches are going to be played

Any Country that wants to host the World Cup has to have a current Professional League, modern Stadiums and a good transport infrastructure.

If the main reason is money / security. then how does South Africa happen to be hosting the 2010 World Cup?
No offence to any one here, but Africa doesnt really host the best record out there for security.

Good stadiums, good infastucture good crown control. The ability to host a major tournament stuff like that. And the weather you cant have the world cup in iceland.
