This is the traditional recipe of fresh tomato sauce for pasta.
For 100grs of pasta (spaghetti or any other kind):
1/2 kilo fresh not too watery red tomatoes
1 small onion
1 clove of garlic
3 spoons of virgin olive oil
1 pinch of salt
4/5 leaves of fresh basil

Hot the oil in a pan and put the chopped onion and the whole clove of garlic in it.
Let them fry very lightly and then add peeled and chopped tomatoes with some salt. Cook on a low flame with the lid on for 15mts and in the end add the basil.
Cook the pasta in 1 litre of boiling water with a pinch of salt. Spaghetti need to be cooked for about 7/10minutes.
Take them away from the water and put them into the pan of sauce, but before take the garlic away and light the fire.
Let the pasta "take" the sauce for about 1 minute and...enjoy it!
