It really depends of the config, for regional/long haul use...
let's have a comparison with Asian major airlines...
However, Boeing 777-300 (if you fit with 3-4-3 economy cabin; currently, you can see 2-5-2 or 3-3-3 config) could have more seats capacity then a B747-400. In Japan the seats(for domestic) are more compact then a lot of countries

但現時載客量最大的客機依然係B747-400, 不同航空公司對現役的B747-400有不一樣的座位配置, 客機可載客350-410不等...
