young man, you are correct it should be 毛囊炎, your sex hormone is growing and the pubic hair is growing very fast. Just make sure you clean JJ very well and take some time to gently rub the possible dead skin around it. It should be fine ... don't eat too much deep friend food, and eat more water melon or "Chinese Herb (cool) tea", then it will be gone very soon.
If you worry, you should talk to your family doctor, some cream will get rid of it.
