EL CLIMA EN LOS DESIERTOS ES EXTREMOSO DEBIDO AL CALOR ESPECIFICO QUE TIENE LA ARENA YA QUE COMO ES MUY BAJO SE CALIENTA MUY RÁPIDO Y EN LAS NOCHES AL NO EXISTIR CALENTAMIENTO POR PARTE DEL SOL SE ENFRÍA MAS RÁPIDO, ESTO TIENE RELACIÓN A QUE LOS GRANDES DESIERTOS SE ENCUENTRAN A LA ALTURA DE LOS 30ª DE LATITUD NORTE O SUR YA QUE LA CIRCULACIÓN GENERAL DE LA ATMÓSFERA ESTA DIVIDIDA EN 3 DIFERENTES CELULAS DE CIRCULACION QUE SE LLAMAN CELULAS DE HADLEY Y A PARTIR DEL ECUADOR ELVIENTO ASCIENDE HASTA LA TROPOSFERA DONDE SE DESPLAZA HACIA EL NORTE O EL SUR DEPENDIENDO EL HEMISFERIO Y DESCIENDE A LA ALTURA DE LOS 30º DE LATITUD IMPIDIENDO POR ESTO QUE HAYA FORMACION DE NUBES YA QUE ES UNA REGION DE ALTAS PRESIONES Y A HESTA ZONA SE LE CONOCE COMO ZONA DE ALTAS PRESIONES EXTRATROPICALES ES POR ESTA RAZON QUE EL CLIMA EN EL DESIERTO SEA TAN EXTREMOSO.

No hay un medio de soporte o balance. El desierto es muy caliente en el día pero casi todo el calor lo refleja.
La vegetación, cuerpos de agua y nubes sirven de colchón: absorven calor y humedad durante el día y lo suminstran en la noche.
O sea es el eterno problema de las situaciones extremas.
