Corey Perez - 2 min - Dec 31, 2005 上面有幾部影片，以GOOGLE VIDEO做"helicoper autorotation"搜尋即可得。直升機失去動力的操作方式稱為Autorotation。這方面在維基百科有相當詳細的介紹。可惜是英文版的，有興趣的話可參考下列網頁：http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Autorotation直升機失去動力要看失去動力的高度，低高度時有可能還來不及操作就像石塊般的墜落，在高高度還時間去建立AUTOROTAION的姿態，基本上有點像固定翼飛機的滑翔。原理還滿簡單的，高空的時候引擎失效，失效瞬間螺旋槳葉還有慣性繼續轉動，接著飛機的重量會把飛機拉向地表，因為空氣不間斷的流經螺旋槳葉，螺旋槳就會繼續不斷的轉動。轉動的槳葉型成一個類似降落傘的屏障就可以減緩飛機下墜的速度，最後落地前的瞬間利用殘餘的速度做FLARE的動作把下墜的速度進一步減低，在觸地的瞬間將飛機擺正，以免尾舵或者螺旋槳葉先觸地即可。說起來簡單，做起來也需要反覆的練習，才能把這些瞬間必須做到的動作一氣呵成。
