想請教各位大大,我們公司用空運的方式出貨,但航空公司將100件貨裡的其中30箱送錯到別的國家,原訂2/16出貨2/18會到,但2/18只到70件還少了30件,而那30件是過了17天後(即3/02)才又回到我要到的國家,那針對這件事,我們要向航空公司索賠共usd2000,因為是和客戶有簽的合約,但要將這些意思寫成英文,請問該怎麼寫才會比較正式呢?麻煩各位大大幫我儘快寫成英文(正式)的好嗎?謝謝!!

To whom it may concern:
we shipped out the goods by air. it should be received no latter than Feb 18 accorging to the schedule.owing to the mistakes caused by the airline , 30 cases of goods were transformed to the wrong place . our customer finally received it on Mar 2. by the way, only 70 cases of goods were arrived at the right destination in time.because we singed the contract with our customer in terms of the transport delay. we formally claim for compensation by usd2000 to recovery our loss.*****
