其實是不行的，原因：
"He is a teacher, and so is she." 句子中的"so+V+S"架構本身的功能本來就是要"回應前半段的肯定"，注意是要"回應肯定"的，所以再把他用來做疑問就產生矛盾了.如果要盡可能按照原句的型態來做問句，就得把"so"改成"but"，語氣才能搭配到疑問句：
He is a teacher, but is she, too?
同理來看提問中之第二部分的否定的回應句，也是得做如下之修改：
We didn't have homework, but didn't they, either?
