中文與英文的語法不盡相同, 所以不宜逐字翻譯.
不能說的願望, 最希望被實現.
這句的語意是:
(我們)最希望實現的(願望), 是(那個/那些)被(我們)認為不該表露出來的願望.
[不能說]並不是"沒有能力說", 也不是"以言語無法形容或表達", 而是由於某些原因而(被認為)[不宜]/[不該]說出來. 所以用[not supposed to be uttered/told/said]. 更進一步考慮, [不能說], 那難道可以用寫的嗎? 當然不是. 所以[不能說]的真正含意應該是"不該表露/顯現"的, 可以用[not supposed to be unveiled].
再講[最希望被實現]. 照理說, 沒有那種"不被希望實現"的願望. 所以應該說"最被期待(能夠實現)"的願望:[most expected]
也可以用[most wished-for], "wished-for"是以過去分詞轉為形容詞.
The wishes not supposed to be uttered are the most expected. OR
The most wished-for is what's not supposed to be unveiled.
