美國的新墨西哥州有一個機場叫做
Albuquerque International Sunport
(機場代碼 ABQ )

請問為什麼是 Sunport 而不是 Airport ?

這機場好像名叫
Albuquerque International Sunport Airport 不是 Albuquerque International Sunport

Thank you for your inquiry. In 1963 when the original terminal was being built, the city commission held a naming contest for the new airport. More than 2000 entries were submitted and a man by the name of Harlee Townsend won with his entry of "Albuquerque Sunport".

這個嘛~我想是從以前留下的一些文化吧!為了區分新移民和別的居民種類(基本上新墨西哥洲和別的國家文化不太相同..)
應該沒有特別意思 應該只是一個地名~ 或慣用說法
