which compound, H2O and F2O,would you expect to have a higher boiling point?
Explain your answer.

The boiling point of H2O (OoC) is much higher than that of F2O (-144.75oC).
This is because the hydrogen bonds between H2O molecules are much stronger than the van der Waals’ forces between F2O molecules.

F2O :
Melting point −224 °C
Boiling point −145 °C
H2O :
Melting point 0°C
Boiling point 100 °C
i think the major factor is Bond energy

so好難predict波
