我是女生 讀英文科 明天六月會畢業
我從來沒有出過國 家裡環境普普
我的個性算獨立外向 不太適應台灣的制式教育環境
畢業後想到美國唸書
英檢中級 托福500左右 從小二接觸英文到高三 幾乎沒有間斷
在學校成績是佳, 強項是英文 弱項應該是數學吧
不錯的應該是口說方面 算是美式腔
因為之前在台灣的外國酒吧打工 老闆是個夏威夷人XD
首先考慮先到
De Anza College 風評滿好的 附近機能也不錯
唸夠學分再轉大學 De Anza College的轉學率好像很不錯
疑問是
我現在還是一頭霧水....................
我該什麼時候開始準備呢?
簽證. 高中成績單. .....
因為我想重考一次托福, 怕高中成績不理想 ESL要唸比較久
六月在台灣高中畢業 那我應該是報秋季班嘛?
那我幾時該開始準備資料? 要準備哪些資料咧?
placement test 是要到了當地 在那裡考
再那邊分看自己是哪個level 和 選擇想要的科目學分
學費要什麼時候付清?
因為我想申請 貸款 再到當地打工 靠自己生活
我知道台灣學生有一個留美的交流網站
但礙於自己還摸不清頭緒... 還不太敢在那發問
到了當地 好像會有接機
那住的地方呢? 一到會有地方落腳嗎?

Based on your questions, I think there are a few things you need to consider before you come here:
1) Financial Support: Without financial support or scholarship, it's really hard to get by just by working "part-time" here (international students CAN NOT work full-time and if I remember right you can not work until you have been a full-time student here for more than one year).
2) TOEFL score: A higher TOEFL score will save you a lot of money. Bottom line is you don't have to take ESL if your level reaches college level (ESL program is worthless for many Taiwanese students because you will be put into classes with other "international students"). In your case, De Anza College is located in San Francisco so I guess you will see a lot of Japanese and Koreans.
3) I received acceptance letter a month I turned in my application. My experience is if you apply for community college, that saves you money for the first two years and it's much easier to get in. Typically if you want to apply to a university as a freshman, you are required to take SAT (SAT is a lot harder than TOEFL), and that costs you three times more than community college.
4) Tuition due date: you need to pay tuition within a week (depending on the school, usually no later than that) from the beginning of a quarter/semester.

首先而且是最重要的一點, 在美國讀大學(或社區學院), 一年的學費及生活費大約需要新台幣100萬元. 以此類推, 四年要新台幣400萬. 如果妳先讀語言學校, 那麼花費就更高了. 如果妳的家裏有能力負擔這筆開銷, 那麼剩下來的事情就好辦了.
現在就可以開始申請了, 建議先申請社區大學, 加強你的英文程度及把大學一二年級的共通科目(數學, 社會學, 心理學....等)修完並且拿到好成績, 再轉學到四年制的大學.
托福最好在今年的12月以前考完, 並且通過, 這樣才來的及申請明年的秋季班. Placement test是到了美國以後, 在新生訓練的時候, 學校會給你做的測驗, 主要是英文和數學. 基本上每一個學期的學費要在開學的頭兩個禮拜付清, 有些學校可以將費用分為兩期付清. 外國學生在美國"不可能"也"不允許"辦貸款, 只可以在學校內打工, 一個星期"不可以"超過20個鐘頭. (一小時的薪水約美金7或8元)
你可能會覺的很不合理, 為什麼限制這麼多? 而且還要花費如此龐大? 沒辦法, 這是別人的國家, 規定是別人訂出來的, 要來這裏讀書, 只好遵守囉!

什麽時候開始準備,自然就是明年5,6月開始
不過也不用準備什麽啦.只需要擁有下面三樣,他們就收你了..
1.填寫申請表格
2.高中成績（可以延後在給,開學前1個星期前給就可以了）
3.托福500分,有點高,如果考不到可以考慮其它學校,不過我相信你ok的啦
秋季班（截止日為 6 月 30 日）、冬季班（截止日為 10 月 31 日）和春季班（截止日為 1 月 31 日）的申請入學皆採用先後順序。新生必須在開學前約一個月抵達學校，為新生適應環境活動和註冊做好準備。 所以你要申請秋季班..
基本上就讀社區大學不需要準備什麽也,我高中畢業,就被我媽丟來美國,先讀2,3個月語言學校,然後在語言學校考paper的託福,然後就拿托福直接跑去申請community college..直接就讀FALL..
最重要的只是英文+數學,你繳交application form,托福,高中成績,這只是入學的要求而已..
分班是看placement test..不是看你托福or高中成績..
1.英文,placement test的時候,考的越好,越高,就不用讀ESL.直接就讀college English Level
2.數學,placement test的時候,考得越好,越高,就不用讀那種低等級的課,可以直接讀微積分,甚至更高..
以上兩樣,是你該準備的,反正placement test的時候,考的越好,就不用讀太多..省很多錢..
至於錢的問題,你第一學期,第二學校大概都一定要靠家人..省一點,其實2年community college只需要120-150萬左右（含生活費)
然後有空就去打工,雖然是非法的,可是要是找得到,一個月也能賺滿多的,如1,2千以上..
讀community college必須要自己找住的.

你要靠自己就不要出國
因為在國外沒有身分不能打工
學生只能在學校打工
由於新水低 可以打工的時間也短 (有規定)
所以如果不靠家裡幾乎是不可能的
