When you write about technology, you see a lot of demos, demo being the industry term for when an executive
demonstrates a new product for an audience, usually with the aid
of a nervous tech-support guy.
When you write about technology, you see a lot of demos, and demo is the industry term for the activity in which an executive
demonstrates a new product for an audience, usually with the aid
of a nervous tech-support guy.
所以,
1. 原句的 demo being... guy,也可說是從 and demo is...guy這個句子(連結詞+句子)變來的。
2.原句的when an executive...guy,似乎是非正式的﹙informal﹚文法用法,如果改成the activity in which an executive...guy則是比較正式的﹙formal ﹚用法。
http://www.answers.com/when
A dilemma is when you don't know which way to turn. (A dilemma is a situation in which you don't know which way to turn) ,或者改寫成含有「when+子句」這種副詞子句的新句子 (You are in a dilemma when you don't know which way to turn).
