句子中如果有 always這個字，那整個句子的時態是應該用簡單式還是進行式 ?

簡單式，因為頻率副詞是說一種『習慣』，並不是指現在正在做什麼。

基本上來講，現在簡單式以及現在進行式的用法細節比較少談。
以版主的題幹來說我會用第二句，I always fall asleep. 這句話應該要在延伸文意出來比較恰當。不使用第一句的原因，我是根據英國語言研究學者Michael Swan所著一書所言。書中(書名忘了)僅談到過去進行式有這樣的用法並沒有提到現在進行時可以這樣用。

●過去進行式：表強調一項活動在一段時間內時時刻刻都在進行著。

I was painting all day yesterday.
They were quarrelling the whole time they were together.

兩句都可以用，因為 1. 你有加了 am = I am (always) falling asleep (in class) 我每次上課就會要睡著。
2. I (always) fall asleep (in class) 我每次上課時都會睡著。

3. (How) Do you like it? Yes, I do. I am loving every minute of it.
或 (How) Are you liking it? Yes, I am. I am loving every minute of it.
