在美國轉學

Question

我現在在美國的大學讀大2!
今年要升大三!!
我想要轉University of Washington 或杜克大學!!
有沒有人有經驗!或成功轉進去的可以跟我講一下!!
我現在已經看到有點亂ㄌ......
有誰知道在哪裡可以找到可轉的學分資料嗎!?
因為我不像現在的課修了然後轉不過去....
請不要給我網址叫我自己找...我就是找不到....
加上現在有報告跟期末要趕~不辦法慢慢看...
最後~有再那裡讀的國際學生可以跟我說一下學費
一個quater或學期是多少嗎!?請盡量給我確切的數字!!

Sorry, since I can't type in Chinese, I am going to have to use English. For transfering credits, it depends a lot on the schools and their policies. The best way to know the exact answers to your specific questions is, like your advisors said, to contact the schools themselves.

Normally, they won't be able to pre-determine what courses you can transfer and what the equivalent credits are without seeing your transcript. So unless you have already started the transfer process and sent them the transcript, or your current school is in the same state as the school you want to transfer to, asking the schools probably won't help either.

For tuition information, the school website is the best place to look for information. I've gotten the tuition info for U of Washington for international students here. You can go find the one for Duke yourself. A piece of advice though: do not give up too early. If you really want to transfer to another school, do your homework. It's not easy enough to the point that things just take care of themselves, but it's not that hard either.
