why do most Taiwanese choose not to get married at present ?
I would like to list the reason as below
1. the ratio of man outnumbers woman by 116:100. according to this survey, it is not fair for man . so they have to go abroad to get married with foreign women. meanwhile it will cause lots of problem to our country. the foreign women will face how to communicate with others in Chinese. also they have to apply a work permit to get a job. but the procedure will take about 8 years. so man in here wants to get married has to take all elements into consideration.
2. the economy is flourishing. everyone gets the same opportunity to attend school. all of them get the higher education and earn more money than before. once they get a job , they are not worry about their living. not only they lead a colorful life but also they enjoy it without children for the rest of their life. based on my investigation, the ratio of birth is decreasing. as you can see the big problem is everyone does'nt want to get married.
3.the density of population in Taiwan is NO 1 all over the world. it is not easy to get a job. also the education system is sophisticated and useless.
parents have to pay lots of money for their children for studying. it is beyond their ability to afford it. as the matter of fact,they are afraid of marriage . *****
