我喜歡…更喜歡…  請問這種句型如何翻呢? 例如:我喜歡聽音樂,更喜歡唱歌。

我有問題請教kevin
第一句,連接詞用but行得通嗎?(這樣是比較直接中文翻過來的感覺)

第二句,為何用semicolon and comma將singing分開?我覺得這樣句型文法上怪怪的(我不確定,因為我文法挺糟的)

敬請指教喔

I like listening to music, and I like singing even better.

I like listeing to music; singing, even better.

I like singing even better than listening to music.

第一句,連接詞用but行得通嗎?

but傳達的多半是轉折或相反的語氣, 這裡的前後段其時是同向的, 只是程度上的不同, 所以我用and. 用but應該也行得通, 但是在語意上的真正差異, 恐怕要問外國人才知道. ^_^

我要表達的是簡略版的第一句, 把重複的部分去掉而已.
I like listening to music, and I like singing even better.=
I like listening to music; I like singing even better.=
I like listeing to music; singing, even better.

不要理這句好了. ^_^

I prefer singing to listening to music.

1) I like to listen to music, but I like to sing more than I like to listen to music.

2) I like to listen to music, however, I like to sing more than I like to listen to music.

3) I like to listen to music and sing, however, I prefer singing more than listen to music.
