我從某字典中的例句中我看到有一句我覺得是錯的，想請教一下：
那本字典在解釋neither的「副詞」用法時，寫了下面這個例句:
If they don't support the plan, neither will I.
這一句因為neither的前面是逗號，所以照理來說要以連接詞來相連，可是這之間只有一個neither，我覺得這個neither在此無法作連接詞的功能，而我又去看其他的辭典，在講到類似的情形時，他們提供的例句不是在neither的前面改成分號，就是neither前面改成句號，neither前面加and做連接，如：I wasn't there, and neither was Mary. I wasn't there; neither was Mary.
那麼這本辭典的例句寫錯了嗎? 可不可以稍微講一下neither的副詞跟連接詞的不同?拜託了，我會超感謝你的喔~~

很簡單,neither是副詞沒錯,也需要用到連接詞沒錯
但是
你忘了if就是連接詞!!!
= If they don't support the plan, I will not (support the plan), either.
倒裝後
= If they don't support the plan, neither will I.
